FOCUS: The Power of Salt and Light
- According to scripture God calls us to be salt and light. Now the most important aspect of these elements is the fact that they change is some way whatever they come in contact with. For example, slat changes flavor and light changes environments. The question and challenge for us is this: Are we making an impact on those we come in contact with?

Monday: Is your salt flavorless or your light hid?

FOCUS: The Power of the Holy Spirit
- If Jesus is the vine, according to John 15, and we are the branches, then the Holy Spirit is the sap. In other words the Holy Spirit provides a life giving flow of power from God to us. We are to be the temple (dwelling place) of the Holy Spirit of God who takes up residence at the moment of salvation!

From the moment you repent of sins and receive salvation through Christ; that same saving power becomes power to live by. The power that we have as Christians is absolutely mind blowing. As His child we have the privilege of God’s presence, protection, provisions and promises. Now that is POWER!
